How it works
Your incoming mail is delivered to our mail
servers where it is processed by a cluster of
Unix servers running not just one, but a suite
of anti-spam and anti-virus utilities and
programmes. Every email is processed and checked
and scored for SPAM. If a mail passes, it is
passed on as normal to the customers mailbox. If
a mail fails it is either deleted immediately or
diverted to a dedicated SPAM IMAP mailbox on our
server. Which method depends on the customers
attitude to SPAM and circumstances. This is the
most elegant spam filtering system we have found
- it needs the minimum of customer intervention,
but is still versatile enough to deal with
"false positives".
Email is also checked against the latest virus
signature files and any positives are
immediately deleted. There is no longer any
point in notifying the sender and recipient
about positive virus hits because the virus
hackers exploit this to suck up Internet
bandwidth.

email to us "I am amazed! I have been careless
with my email address over the years, but just
couldn't afford to change it. Your system has
reduced my inbox from over 100 emails a day to
just 10 - and all of them legitimate, with no
false alarms - splendid!"

Compatibility
The service will work no matter what your mail
requirements. Pop Domain, POP mailboxes, SMTP
forwarding, MS Exchange are all supported. We
can customise for all customers - private
individuals, small medium and large businesses.

A bit of small print on Spam filtering.
Our products and pricing are intended for
volumes associated with small to medium
companies (SMEs) For the purpose of email this
is intended to be in the region of 500 emails a
day. Quantities greatly in excess of this may
attract a further charge, however this is not
automatic, customers will be contacted to
discuss and agree.
There is no guarantee of performance. We are
extremely satisfied with our tests and have
found that 99% detection is easily attained. We
will not be held responsible for the
consequences of any mail that either gets marked
as spam, or for any spam mail that gets
through. However it is not our policy to tie up
customers with complex contracts - any customer
who is dissatisfied with the service may cancel
at 1 months notice and be refunded for any
unused service.
